We specialise in unique projects that require a knowledge of sympathetic restoration and evolving style. Challenging and rewarding, Laird James projects are handpicked to test the true craft of building. The satisfaction of a happy client, the feel of a building rejuvenated with a new life, and the knowledge that a home is ready for its next chapter.

Laird has had extensive experience across the building industry for 25 years building large residential and commercial projects in Australia and Europe. Having initially trained in carpentry in Perth, Australia, Laird worked on large scale commercial projects across Australia before moving to the UK in 2011.

Being given a chance to work on buildings older than his home country, Laird soon developed a passion for English architectural history and contemporary restoration techniques.

After 15 years creating some of London’s most beautiful homes,  Laird works with a core group of craftsmen to deliver first class renovations and builds, from inception to construction.
